Here is a nut to crack
Here is a mystery
symptom does not arise
without a history
Whence Cometh Sleep
And Now.. Here; Why Not So?
And lately, since She left
Where did She go?
Which door doth Sleep slip in
how Comes the Invitation
And if She Comes not In
Where is Her Station?
Here is a mystery
symptom does not arise
without a history
Whence Cometh Sleep
And Now.. Here; Why Not So?
And lately, since She left
Where did She go?
Which door doth Sleep slip in
how Comes the Invitation
And if She Comes not In
Where is Her Station?
Come Come O Sleep
For I, bereft Without You
Cannot my allies meet
nor deeply rest about You
Come Come O Sleep
Grant me this thing sublime
Come that I blossom May
To Sleep & To Wake into Springtime.

What if, finding yourself 'sleepless', you were to frame it as a gift, eschewing pills to drug you out of it, choosing instead to ramp up the quality of your attention; to you attempting to reach you (richly more of you).
What extraordinary thing is bringing you to Wakefulness in the night.. for many of us, traditionally, in the [lucid] 'wee hours'?
Consider then, that nightmares can speak to an issue or situation you are being plagued by; often actually precipitated by your distress at something perplexing/unresolved in waking life.
New beginnings inhabit a beginning place at the edge of the world. That is why Tolkien and C.S. Lewis committed with colleagues to meet regularly/weekly to speak to their 'inklings'. Had this NOT have happened, we would not have Chronicles of Narnia in our world today, for it took for Lewis to turn and engage with an internal experience he had thereunto been frightened by/pushed away.
Stephen LaBerge, while engaged in Lucidity Dream research at Stanford, wrote an article; 'Nightmares? Lucky You!' ~ Because therein is rich custom-curriculum material crafted and assembled specifically for you and your core journey.
